Principle of Vacuum Casting
Vacuum casting is a manual manufacturing method that utilizes prototypes processed by CNC, SLA, or other methods to create silicone molds quickly and inexpensively. Liquid PU is poured into these molds under vacuum conditions to produce transparent parts that closely replicate the prototype.

The customer needed 80 pieces and, considering the high cost of other production methods, we recommended vacuum casting. The process involved creating a prototype, making a silicone mold, and then using that mold for batch replication. Due to the limited number of replications possible per silicone mold (around 20), we made a total of 4 silicone molds to fulfill the order.
